1. Pre-register online or by mail with check or money order
2. Await payment confirmation and event assignment via phone call from an event coordinator
3. Dress to impress, relaxed style
4. Arrive at event location on time or slightly early so that the event can begin on-time
5. Check in with Event Coordinator: sign your name on check-in sheet, receive your preprinted badge number which will have your first name and your dating number which you will pin to yourself in a visible fashion so that others can read it, also you will receive a blank dating card
6. Mingle with the other participants as they come in until the event coordinator signals that it is time to begin the event
7. You will be directed to your seating arrangement: Men will be mobile during the event, the ladies will remain stationary
8. The Event Coordinators will initiate a series of interactive ice-breaker activities
9. Once dating begins, you will place the dating number of each participant that sits across from you on your dating card
10. Each date lasts 7 minutes
11. Once the date is complete, you will need to check whether you want this person to contact you again for a 2nd date, friend, or business contact.
*If you really like someone, it is best to pick them in all categories
for a better chance of getting some contact information. If you did not
like them at all and do not wish to pick them for any category, leave all
choices blank. Please keep in mind that this is a fun, interactive social
event, so keep your mind open to many possibilities, and you may actually
make a meaningful connection with someone who you might not have considered
ordinarily.
12. After each date, i.e. the 7 minutes is done a bell/whistle will sound and the men will get up and move one seat over to begin a new date.
13. Once half of the dates have been completed, intermission will commence
Intermission equals food and beverages at a nominal price and the opportunity to mingle
14. After intermission the second half of the dates commence until all have been completed
15. Once all dates are done, final selections must be made on the dating cards and these cards are collected by Mocha Dates staff
16. Within 48 hours you will be notified of your Mocha Matches and the rest is up to you.
